Count Purchases Towards a Fundraiser's Goal
Join Me has an optional setting that allows you to automatically count other online purchases towards a fundraiser's goal. In order to use this feature you must set up a Sales and Cash Donation type page for the project and enable that page to appear as a link on your fundraiser's pages. With this feature enabled, donors can go to a fundraiser's page, click the link below the fundraiser's donate button to get to the Sales and Cash Donation type page and make a purchase. As long as they reached that Sales and Cash Donation type page through the link on the fundraiser's page, any purchases they made on that Sales and Cash Donation page will count towards that fundraiser's goal.
- Create a Sales and Cash Donation type page in Manage Project Website and set up packages that you want to publish.
- Go into Manage Project Website and click Edit Page Settings for the Fundraiser Signup Page (if you've already created it) or add a new Fundraiser Signup Page (if you haven't yet created it).
- Click Next through the setup wizard until you get to the final step (where the Next button changes to Save).
- Use the "Display a link to another page" drop down to select the Sales and Cash Donation type page you previously set up. If desired, edit the Link Text.
- Check off "Add other purchases made via the fundraising page to the fundraiser's total."
- Click Save.
