Fundraiser's Text

The text on a team's page is typically used to describe who the team is as a whole. For a school fundraiser that might be a specific grade or class. A team might also be a company or department raising funds through their corporate giving campaign.

Fundraisers have the option of including a Fundraiser Image or (like this page shows) a Fundraiser Video. To use a video, fundraisers will need to get the embed code from the video hosting site. The embed code is typically found under the Share options.

Because this is set up as a Team Fundraiser Page, below this text is a link for individuals to register to fundraise as part of this team.


Organization Description

Language that you put in the Organization Description textbox will appear on your Fundraiser Signup Page as well as on each of your fundraiser's donation pages. Your fundraisers will have a textbox of their own that they can customize on their pages, but the Organization Description will also be added to their page automatically. The fundraisers will not be able to make changes to the Organization Description as it appears on their page. This textbox is usually used to describe your organization's mission.


 

Fundraising Page Text

Language that you put in the Fundraising Page Textbox will also appear on both your Fundraiser Signup Page as well as each of your fundraiser's donation pages. This textbox is usually used to describe your event and cause and motivate your fundraiser's donors to contribute to the fundraiser.

JM Team Captain
Each member of a team - after clicking the "Join as member!" link and creating their account - will be able to add/edit their personal story, which will show up here. We recommend that the team captain also join the team as a member. When donors make a donation to a team they have a new question to answer regarding who within the team they would like the donation credited to. Having the Team Captain register as a member of their own team will ensure that their own name appears in the drop down menu so they get credit for their friend's and family's donations!
